With a broad international experience across all continents, Manoel had four expatriate assignments since he left Brazil in 2005, living in Italy, United Kingdom, Angola and the U.S. Manoel’s unique career combines a solid business expertise in Oil & Energy sectors, Transport, Travel and Consumer Industries. He worked for global organizations, reaching the main business positions in areas of Strategy, Business Financials, Corporate Affairs, Sales & Marketing and Operations, management consulting with in-depth understanding of trading, distribution, B2B, retail and Ecommerce in local, regional, and global scopes. Manoel’s key leadership positions were Global Retail Marketing Director for Shell International based in London; Chief Commercial Officer for Puma Energy International based in Miami; Country General Manager for Pumangol Energy in Angola; Global Business Development & M&A Director for Trafigura A.G in Houston and most recently Sales Vice President in the U.S. Canada and Caribbean for LATAM Airlines in Miami, when he managed the merger of TAM and LAN by delivering $680 millions in revenue in 2016 leading a team of 60 people. Manoel resigned LATAM in April 2017 to become an entrepreneur first with MSuhet Enterprises INC, a C-level by Demand / Interim Management / Coaching for Performance consultancy firm, where he continue supporting successful business owners to internationalize their companies in the USA. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Business Traveler Deals INC an innovative corporate travel agency powered by technology supporting over 350 Small Medium Enterprises and Start Ups in US, Portugal and Brazil to save money on business and leisure trips. Manoel he is also shareholder of 2 other start up business - one in technology and digital marketing and other in show business. Nominated in 2017 as Executive Vice President of the Board of USA-Brazil Chamber of Commerce in Florida BACCF, Manoel is now Chair of the Strategic Alliances Committee for BACCF, He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the USA-Brazil Chamber of Commerce in New York for 3 years. Most recently Manoel was nominated CEO of the Global Business Institute where MSuhet Enterprises INC is a founder member company. Manoel has developed an extensive network of key stakeholders across corporations, institutions and governments in the US, Canada, Latin America and EMEA region. Currently he is engaged in over 15 corporate & business institutions in the US, Portugal and Brazil. His solid education includes a recent A.I. Artificial Intelligence Business Strategy program at M.I.T. and Leadership and Strategy programs at Harvard University besides Post MBA at Kellogg School of Management part of the Executive MBA at Don Cabral Foundation in Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish and is conversational in French. Suhet was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, but adopted the U.S as his permanent residence. Suhet is an avid traveler, scuba diver and musician, residing in Miami since 2010 with his wife and two daughters.
